When playing tracks the wave marker goes off and no sound is heard.

How are you storing your music, internally or external hard drive?
What are you computer spec's?
What type of hard drives are you using and what are there spec's?

The Specs are: HP Compaq 6910p, Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz,
RAM: 2.00GB
System type: Windows7 ultimate 32-bit operating system

Please kindly look at the above specifications and advise me thereof

Please am using internal hard drive
160gb and NTFS file system
Drive type: Hitachi HTS541616J9SA00 ATA Device
Free space on drive: 40gb
