Hi jjjjoooonnnn,
Thanks for get in touch with us. Could you be able to send us your computer specifications? This is how to find out your computer specs. - serato.com
Do you use external HDD or all of your music is in your internal HDD? And what kind of music file format do you use?
Please let me know.
Kind Regards
Rui

Hi Rui, thanks for getting back to me.
I have a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.3
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
The tracks are on my internal hard drive. They are mostly .m4a or .mp3 files.
To elaborate a little, if I am playing a track on Deck A and have a track loaded on Deck B, if I try to load a new track on to Deck B it will crash. It doesn't happen every single time, but around 50% of the time, which is of course enough to make Serato completely unusable in a live environment, I have a gig on Saturday 1st June so need to sort asap
Thanks

Great. Thanks for your informations. I'm wondering this crash occurred by particular music files? or could be any music? Firstly let's re-analyse your libraries and make sure you don't have any corrupt file in your library. Please delete from library if you find any.
Also you can able to play m4a files on Serato DJ Intro but we don't support this format so this could be a big reason for the crash. I would recommend you to convert them to mp3 format if you can.
Secondly. Let's try and rebuild your DatabaseV2, follow instructions from here (serato.com) and reopen Serato DJ and see if that helps.
You might have Database V2 files on your different partitions of your HDD & External drives so you will need to rebuilt all of them.
I hope this helps. Please let me know how it go.
Kind Regards
Rui
