Thanks for get in touch with us. Sounds like your computer stop communicating with your controller some point. Let's firstly try computer optimisation. Please go this page and follow the instructions (serato.com).

Secondly try and rebuild your DatabaseV2, follow instructions from here (serato.com) and reopen Serato DJ and see if that helps.
You might have Database V2 files on your different partitions of your HDD & External drives so you will need to rebuilt all of them.

This just recently started happening to me after using my vci 380 5 nights a week for about 5 months straight. Im so pissed. I'm looking at the date of the post with the same problem and its apparent its something that many people are experiencing. .... I have a mac so i doubt i need to optimize my machine.

I have tried rebuilding and renaming my database v2 file and it Worked for about a Week and then today while i was mixing live on the air it froze up twice...smh! I was so angry!

I use the HP G60 Notebook notebook PC.
Processor: Pentium (R) Dual Core CPU T4200 @2.00GHz
Memory (Ram): 4.00 GB
System: 32 bit
Windows Vista Home Premium

I don't know if its my computer or the controller but i'm leaning more towards the computer. I really don't understand whats going on and I personally learned to play and DJ off of VDJ. I have had my serato vci 300 mk11 controller for over a year now. The freezing just started happening in the last few months tho.

Sorry to hear you having this issue. You might have corrupt file in your library. Please re-analyse your library first. If a corrupt file is detected during analysis, your Serato software will tag the track with a corrupt file icon. It is very important that you delete ANY corrupt files from your library as they can cause the software to crash regardless if you play the file or not.
