hell of crates

Cassio.Hoffmann 2:11 AM - 15 May, 2013
someone explain to me why the hell I can not simply import a folder with subfolders and serato maintain the structure of directories, and what is the advantage of the crates and not just use the structure of directories?
And I think that millions of users are bound to use it without even asking whether this agent liking. Ai have to be running behind running third party programs that do this import.
I'm very disappointed. Someday we will have it resolved?

thank's

The only way to do this automatically without a third party software is by using itunes and simply clicking show itunes library, since Serato has a freaking hard on for Apple for some reason.. and it's a shame, because youo're right when you have a lot of folders and don't want to use itunes you're out of luck. I don't see why so many DJ's prefer itunes for sorting, it's way too confined and I don't see any advantage and personally I'm not a fan of smartcrates.. sure you can quickly consolidate everything into one crate instantly..NOT! we all have dozens of songs that has a default tag as one genre but we believe it to be another.. So let's go and pick out all those tracks and retag them.. I'd rather just drag and drop no thank you

Fala Cassio. Tudo certo?

Enfim...

Grande abraço!!
