ok so heres the deal i been djing for about 2 years now and taught myself from the start im good at beat matching scratching into a beat etc but here is my thing i notice when i scratch it doesn't sound like alot of djs . like when you grab your vinyl and let it go you get that slow start up ssshhh sound which is the scratching sound i just traded in my mixer yesterday and my 62 will be here tomorrow morning im looking for a all out set up for my entire system and like the 3 knobs on the front of the 62 what is the best position for them to be in ? and settings in scratch live should i go in and tweak anything ? and anything else i should set for the mixer itself ? greatly appreciated would like a response from a professional dj thankx ;)

the three knobs on the front are contour controls. its preference. play with it.
what kind of dj are you? scratch dj? blend dj? do you want use of instant doubles? what kind of computer are you working with (with regards to latency)? are you doing video? do you use the sp6? what about the dj fx?

its all preference. read the manual and figure out what doe and doesnt apply to your situation.
