This looks like a generic error when your computers date and time settings do not match the service you are trying to connect to.

I would recommend going to control panel and adjusting the system date and time settings whilst Serato DJ is closed, make sure that they are correct and then reactivating your trial again.

Has the problem occurred again? Are you getting the same pop up message?

Did changing the time settings work?

no but i did unintall the serato dj and intall it again and it saying activate but not making me do it

All you have to do to continue using your trial is to hit the "X" in the top right hand corner and you can keep using Serato DJ for another 10 days.

If you do choose to activate the Serato DJ software the price in pounds (at the moment using an online converter) is roughly ₤65.

When you click the "X" what happens? does it take you to the offline player? If so make sure that your controller is plugged in.

Once you have purchased the full version of Serato Dj it will work on the computer you activated it on with any supported controller. You do not need to purchase a license for each controller.

Hey Djriderpva,

The mic input on the Mixtrack Pro is a "thru" input. This means you will hear the mic in the master output (through you speakers) but you can't hear it in your headphones.

When you use the internal record function in Serato DJ you can only record the audio being processed by the software. Because the mic is a "thru" input on your controller the only way to record it would be to connect a RCA to 3.5mm cable from one of the outputs on your Mixtrack Pro to the line in on a computer and record the mix in Audacity or a similar program. Serato DJ is only supported on OSX 10.6 and higher, this is all listed on the product specifications page: serato.com

You will have to update your operating system if you want to run the software on that machine.

Older versions of Serato DJ may work but they will not have as many features as the more recent versions. You could try out version 1.1: serato.com

Although, it may be easier for you to update your OS instead.
