I have an issue that I need to always analyse the iTunes library upon every opening of the software it is like ITCH thinks it has never been analysed. On some songs BPM data is kept on others it is lost and then need to re analyse. As ITunes library grows the analysing list grows.
Another small issue is that every now and then at closing the app it will give me an error of Application did not close correctly.
Already attempted in re installing the software still no change. Could it be a ITCH library files error? if so is there a way I can check its integrity.

Hey Dimik,
Sorry to hear you are having this issue. Are you having the crash on exit every time you try to close the software?
The reason that you can't save your changes maybe because of this or it could be permissions. Lets look at the crashing on exit first.
Please try rebuilding your DatabaseV2 file.
Close all programs
In Music > _Serato_ rename DatabaseV2 to OLDDatabaseV2.
Reopen Scratch Live, allow it to rebuild your database, this could take some time depending on the size. When you are sure it's finish try closing it again.
Let me know what happens.

I will give it a try and let you know if this fixes the issues after this weekend.

I have rebuilt the database file. Analysing files still resets after each running of ITCH for iTunes files. Will let you know if the software crashes on close. After rebuild dont think it will.

Tried on the weekend after about 10 open and closes of the software it still gave me an unexpected close error once. Also tried re analysing all files so I can get the length of trcks back.

Can you try something drastic to see if you still get the crashing on exit.
• Close all programs first.
• Could you please go to your music folder > Rename your _Serato_ to _OLDSerato_ .
• Then reopen Serato ITCH and see if it crashes on exit.
This will help us see if it still crashes with a fresh Serato folder.

Crashing seems to have stopped wont be 100% till time passes. Crates still get imported in from secondary partition so all is good so far. Analysing of itunes files i still not kept though.

I was not aware you had a secondary partition with your music and crates on it. Thats good to know :)
Could you please clarify this?
Hope that rebuild helped but we still may have some work to do, let me know how you go.

Yes the unexpected error on close is not so much the issue as what the analysing of itunes files is. What happens here is I hit analyse files and it will go through and analyse all my itunes files. While I am in the same session I hit analyse files again and nothing comes up (which is normal). Once I close the software even when closed correctly with no errors I re open the software and hit analyse files it re analyses all my iTunes files again and it also loses things like BPM info etc until it is re scanned. this is my bigger issue.
Hope that helps describing it.
