I have been using VSL to do just visuals, which is really awesome. However, for the fact that I have to use the 57, there are only a few good controls to use. (joysticks, P knob, and the faders). It would be awesome if I could control other parameters using the eq knobs.
When doing audio, how sick would it be to see the screen rotate or go LED when you killed the bass for a second?
anyone, how sick?
come on, that would be disgusting...

This should be next on the feature list.
Pioneer's SVM can do it. Like the DVJ was the benchmark for what scratching video should be like, the features of the SVM should also become part of the standard for video DJing.
It just helps take the integration with the 57SL further and makes a better case for VSL being tied to that mixer. After the EQ hookup thing gets figured out the next step should be video effects linked to the 57's audio effects. Imagine seeing echo while you hear echo. That's even more sick.

they are not assignable but on some effects turning the EQ knobs will alter the colour of the vid... think 'audio csl' is one of them...
