Two years on since the metaphorical 'Turn It Up' and the often-called production chameleon and chop impresario that is IG Culture relents. Armed with an enviable list of groundbreaking works, the West London native shows no signs of letting up and signals that things have clearly evolved and times have changed.

As the emancipated New Sector Movements, he's digging deep in the laboratory after championing a slew of EPs and two pioneering albums in association with Virgin/EMI and his own Main Squeeze imprint. To put numbers to his production credits is ineffectual as the list is not easily contained. Ultimately, it's been his sonic influence that's helped him mark the territory that is so clearly his own.

The press have said "I.G. is about styles not a style, sounds not a sound, identities around one identity...a man of as many identities as he has talents" and this will forever ring true. Whether manning the helm at London's infamous fortnightly Co-Op club night, honing the dub slant on a hip hop re-rub or standing at the producer's desk stoking a 10-strong choral fire, it's all in the name of what he calls "IG music"; music that massages the soul, sparks the mind and percolates as the concentrated core of his own vibration.
