Whitelabel.net is Serato's promo delivery network and provides Scratch Live users access to record label’s promotional releases. You can use the same log-in for Whitelabel.net as you would for Serato.com or Scratchlive.net.
This tutorial explains how to set up your computer to automatically import Whitelabel.net files into your Scratch Live library. After completing the steps below, you will be able to drop tracks straight into Scratch Live from your desktop as you download.
If you haven't done so already, update your Scratch Live version to 2.1.1
Installing version 1.8.2 and above will create an "Auto Import" folder inside your Scratch Live Folder.
Open your _Serato_ folder (ScratchLIVE folder in older versions) to view the contents. Your _Serato_ folder is located in:
Next, create a shortcut / alias for this folder on your computer. This can be anywhere, but should be in the same location as where you set your web browser to download. Your desktop is a good location.
On Mac:
On Windows:
This is the only setup required.
You can now drag all of your Whitelabel.net downloads onto the Auto Import shortcut /alias folder. The track will move into the Auto Import folder in your _Serato_ folder and be added automatically to your Scratch Live library.
When you start Scratch Live, a new crate called Whitelabel.net will appear, with all your fresh tracks in it.
Your tracks will also move from the Auto Import folder to _Serato_ > Imported > Whitelabel.net.
Note: If you choose to move your files from this location later, the behavior is the same as any other regular folder - you will need to use relocate lost files to refresh your library.
TIP: You can also add regular files to your Scratch Live library the same way. The only difference is that they will be added to a crate and folder named "Latest Import", rather than Whitelabel.net
Enjoy :)
